CHAMPIONS LIFE POKER BANKROLL CHALLENGE (UPDATE 2)

Last night I had a little bit of free time so I was lucky enough to get a session in for this challenge. I played three $5 buyin head's up sit and go's and I also sat at a 6 max microstakes cash game table. My results are as follows, I went 2-1 in the $5 head's up sit n go's and was also able to squeeze a buyin from the 6 max cash game for a total profit of $5.97. I'm not set up to record these sessions so screenshots will have to do for now... I'm actually kind of glad I can't record anything because for the duration of this challenge I'd like to give away the least amount of information on my playing style and poker knowledge as possible. To be honest I believe that information is worth well more than the stakes I'm currently playing at and this whole challenge all together... Yup you read that right, even if someone was willing to give me $10,000 for said info I would graciously decline. If you knew the thought process going through my head while playing cards you would seriously bug out and I'm not sure if any of you are really ready to handle that yet... LOL. With that said, peep the pic below... I'm gonna speak on that in the next section of this blog entry...

So this is the last hand of the one $5 head's up sit and go that I ended up losing... I had about 785 chips left and we got it all-in pre-flop when my opponent decided to complete the big blind, tank then call my all-in shove. The reason I posted this hand is because for the most part this is how I run on Ultimate Poker, and my complaint isn't with my opponent's call(calling my all-in pre-flop with what is considered to be a dead ace is exactly what I wanted them to do). It's the absolutely ridiculous board run out that I have beef with. To put things in perspective I was a 68.37% favorite to WIN when all the chips went into the middle and ended up LOSING the hand. I wasn't the least bit surprised either, on this site it's actually pretty standard for me to lose this way. For some reason the suckouts occur at a more frequent rate than the numbers and percentages suggest, especially when I'm the clear cut favorite. This is just one hand but if you stick around and follow this challenge you'll get a pretty good sample of hands where I'm in this same situation with the exact same results. Look, as I said in the intro to my blog I was gonna give you nothing but the real, so my opinion is this: Although I genuinely enjoying playing on their site, Ultimate Poker is fucked up for punishing the better players who pride themselves in finding and getting into good spots just to be fucked over by the three card or less outers or even runner runner suckouts... LOL. It's kind of crazy for me to be complaining about shit like this when my lifetime stats on their site suggests that I'm a pretty successful and winning player, but hey, that's really just how I feel about it. So if you ever plan on playing on Ultimate Poker just understand that there is definitely an adjustment period to how the game is dealt and regardless of how good you think you are, you will definitely have to reformat your gameplan. Hopefully as I manuever through this challenge and get to play more hands on their site my opinion of Ultimate Poker will change... Only time will tell, but for now my stance is that their dealers(a.k.a RNG's) fuckin suck. LOL.

Disclaimer: If any of the Ultimate Poker reps read this, please don't DOOM SWITCH me!!! LOL. Like I said, I'm just thinking out loud and speaking on what no one else has the balls to say... Sorry about being honest with my opinion if this offended any of you.
